Nancy O'Dell's first work in the industry of broadcast was as a reporter/anchor at WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor and crime report at WCBD TV. O'Dell's stories in Charleston concerning the lack of leniency by police in DUI cases led to a State Law Enforcement Division to investigate. This led to state authorities issuing more strict regulations in these cases. The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with its Best Report of the Years Award across all South Carolina Media. Following her stint living in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative journalist. Then she was hired by Access Hollywood to work as the weekend and weekday correspondent. O'Dell in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows for The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
